ILiveInPerego is the virtual home of Simone Fumagalli.

This is not a BLOG, even if is a WordPress-based site, but is more a place where:

• save pieces of code to Cut&Paste,
• put some pictures of the last party
• collect and share digital stuff
• I can redirect people when they want to know more about me.

You can easily guess where I live, but you probably don't know where Perego is. Perego is a small village with less than 2000 people in the earth of Brianza, a green area between Milano and the lake of Como, you can easly locate it on Google's Maps.

Work

I work as a developer in a web agency in Milano. I also have some private biz, most of them not done for money but for fun. In almost 10 years in the IT world I've few certainties (randomly) :

• phpBB sucks ! It's for sure the worst piece of code on earth
• Smart people don't send emails in HTML
• Big projects always fail
• Java is good … as a place for vacations

In my spare time I take part in some Open Source projects like Next Gen Gallery (I've developed the custom thumbnail generation and the auto rotating on EXIF data)
